DESCRIPTION OF WORK SPECIFIC:
·         Support implementation of 10 CFR 835. Provide technical support, procedure and technical basis document development, and implementation oversight of the radiation protection program.
·         Responsible for ensuring assigned policies, procedures, and technical documents effectively implement conduct of operations principles, safety management program components, and radiological control requirements.
·          Provide radiological control expertise and coordination in support of accomplishing critical milestones.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:                                
·         BA/BS degree in health physics, science, or engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience, and a minimum of 15 years of experience required.
·         Must have demonstrated experience in the implementation of a 10 CFR 835 occupational radiation protection.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
·         A certification by the American Board of Health Physics preferred.
·         Previous experience in the implementation of radiation protection programs at Hanford highly desired.
