DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
This position is responsible for providing Performance Assurance technical support for the River Risk Management Project (RRMP) including coordination with multiple projects, Hanford management, and DOE personnel. Activities require multi-tasking capabilities in the Condition Reporting and Resolution System and Integrated Evaluation Plan program, performance as the Performance Assurance Coordinator, execution of Assessments, and overall management of the RRMP Performance Assurance compliance elements. Facilitate communications with support organizations to assure timely and efficient integration in alignment with operational priorities. Duties include:
  • Daily management of RRMP specific CRRS
  • Routine interface/aiding with closure of Corrective Actions
  • Evaluation of Management Observation Reports prior to final submission
  • Track and trend Condition Reports to prevent recurrence of deficiencies
  • Interface with internal and external customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues and observations
  • Assist with execution of Critiques and generation of Occurrence Reports
  • Assist with Causal Evaluations and lead as primary author of final report
  • Create (and present as appropriate) presentations for management to communicate with stakeholders
  • Support emergency response drills and actual events, as required
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA/BS degree and 5 or more years work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hanford will accept 8 years of directly related experience in lieu of a BA/BS degree; the individual would need an additional 5 years of experience in addition to the 8 year equivalency.
  • Must be safety conscious and have the ability to work in a Hanford construction Project atmosphere by demonstrating previous experience in a Hanford construction project.
  • Experience working in Corrective action management systems and Integrated assessment programs.
  • 5+ years experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
